Boost Capital’s New Merchant Cash Advance
Date: August 2017.
Boost Capital, a leading small business financing platform, has committed to establishing its UK head office in Chelmsford, Essex for the long term.
Whilst Boost’s parent company, BFS Capital, has been well established in the USA for many years, with lending to businesses in excess of £1 billion, the UK office was set up in Chelmsford just five years ago.
Now itself well established, the business has committed to retaining Chelmsford as its centre of operations with a move to a larger office in the town and on a longer term lease. With the new office, come new jobs for the area too. From a team of seven in 2015, the business now has over 20 employees with plans to increase further as the business grows.
Managing Director, Alex Littner, commented as the new office opened: “Our support for small businesses has grown rapidly in the last two years and that growth has allowed us to expand the size of our team. We have always seen Chelmsford as a good location. Its proximity to London, but without the costs associated, gives us access to a high quality workforce.”
The new, larger, space also provides the company room for growth, and additional facilities, such as breakout areas, a pool table, a kitchen, and a boardroom all provide huge benefits for team morale and energy amongst the workforce.
Since launching in the UK, Boost Capital has established itself as one of the recognised lenders in the small business sector as the main high street banks have reduced their lending. Through its offices in the UK, US and Canada Boost Capital has lent over £1 billion since its inception, supporting over 17,000 businesses.
CEO of US parent company BFS Capital, Michael Marrache, added his support for the new office. “We are delighted to have been able to customise our model for the UK and provide assistance to such an important part of the economy- small businesses. We look forward to further expansion so we can support more in the years ahead.”
